[a href="[a href= "][a href=[/a] My Titan project came with a dead charging system. Tried swapping parts, made a testing fixture, found that under load the voltage would drop below 12v. My experience with british bikes points to a weak rotor. Stock Suzuki specs is only 2-3 amps at 8000rpm. Not much for a 55 watt bulb. Not much out there for inexpensive replacement. Found that the bolt pattern of the lucas style stator and the titan is the same. A little lathe work making a locating ring and using the center from the Titan rotor installed in the lucas rotor makes an almost bolt in swap. Suzuki points cam and points plate are used over. Timing really does not change as points plate will be pretty close to what it was. Could only add one photo to this Thread?
