My garage currently looks like an I.E.D. has been set off in it. 3 different projects at the same time, plus my daily rider and associated household ($$$$$$$) projects. I can probably get it done without too much trouble, but priorities you know. I should be able to have something finished before the season is over. I hope..........
I also need to put a knobbie on the front of the Sherpa for this weekend, E.O.A.R. in Keene.

I've finally reclaimed my garage, I found tools that I hadn't put away since last summer. Just for a laugh, I put clubman bars, old style grips and bar-end mirrors on the A7 today. It looks really cool. I'm afraid now I will have to make myself some rear-sets. I have a set from my 900F, and seeing as the Department of War & Finance declared that "there's no way you are going to race that thing, your too old", I might adapt them to the A7. Stay tuned.

Just for information's sake, I made a CDI unit for a customer's A7 at his request. He successfully raced the bike last weekend, getting two second place finishes. I've decided to build these on a regular basis now, and they'll be available in a few weeks. I *think* the price will be $239.

Still haven't fired the A1ss up as I have no Gas Tank or oil tank back from the painters yet. Was hoping to film the advance for you. Glad someone else has helped out

I'm planning on adding CDI to my DT100. For a single, the cheap Chinese moped 12VDC CDI units would work fine. I have a few here that I did some testing with. They're not fast enough for a 10,000 RPM triple, but no problem for a single. Also, they'll work fine with a simple magnetic pickup, or the right Hall effect pickup. My problem will be converting the bike to a 12V system to use the standard CDI units. I think I can take out the magneto coil and wind it to be a 2nd charging coil, in series with the original one, and end up with 12V.
The A7 CDI unit I made is a direct replacement for the stock A7 CDI unit. Did A1s ever come with CDI?

Ah, thanks. So both models could be points or CDI then.
