This is the link to a website for a collector here that brought a vaporblast set up in from Europe. The 500 triple engine in the pictures is the 500 I brought out from Kitchener a couple years ago. It was in need of a lot of finishing. The process uses water and a very fine medium at low pressure, it peens the metal but is not abrassive enough to do damage. The engine took about 3 hours in the vapor blaster. vaporblastcanada.com

Have you seen the sand-blasting cabinet sold at TSC? They put it on sale every few weeks for $99.00.Princess Auto has glass bead fairly cheap. Why send stuff out? I have one with bead in it,might get another for sand.

Check out this weeks Princess Auto flyer. They have their benchtop blast cabinet on sale for $89.99 (reg price 249.00).
I just picked one up but it's still in the box (and probably will be for a while yet). It looks to be large enough for engine cases, etc. Not sure what I'll use for larger items like pipes, frame, etc.
Cheers, N.

Mervin, your cylinders are on backwards... They were just set on the cases for the pictures, so no worry
