Yes, thinking of selling the sled I build 30 years ago. It's a '72 Elan with a Yamaha RD350 engine, foot shift, twist grip, tuned pipes, beltless and brakeless. Lots of slowing when downshifting on a sled. Got rid of the boogie wheels, upgraded to TNT sliders. The kickstart lever is hooked to a wire cable down to a pulley on the tunnel and up to a hand pull grip. Crankcase vaccum fuel pump, gas primer in orinal oil injector inlets. Oil and gas mixed in the tank. Hand made fiberglass cab which looks pretty good , considering I was 18 at the time. Home made seat & vinyl, stitch on my mum's machine (I did it), sheet metal work done at Heliport Canadore College Campus ( I sneaked in after hours). It does at least 70 mph. Best serious offer. ...I know...pics please! Charlie. Read more: triplescanada.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=stuff&action=display&thread=7326#ixzz299pKkVnW

Yes but I widened the ski base out by 6 inches, and changed the boogies to sliders. It handles pretty good.

Heliport??? IE vacant Bomarc missile base??? I attended AMT college there fall of '76 to spring '78. There was still a Bomarc missile in one of the silos (which was subsequently re-painted to white, from it's original gray and re-labeled "politically correct" later to be mounted on a concrete plinth in Ferris). Learned how to gas weld there and did most of my classmate's practical test pieces too!! (most of the guys couldn't run a bead if their life depended on it! J

Yes, Bomark, I was in a two year machine shop / mechanical technician course there in '86.
