can the left seal be replaced without splitting the cases?

The seals have a ridge on them that fits into a groove in the case.. you will have to split it.

can you believe that Dave a year and a half barely since the last seal went and she never even rode it last year now the other side.

That jack ass Barnes should have changed them both. Maybe I will swing by this weekend.. got my RZ back on the road.

I have a new oil seal kit for an RZ. I think the pump seal is the same on the LC. You can have it if you want.

Ok, that explains the excess oil in the tranny but does it explain why it spit out the crank seal?
