Annual top end decarbonizing. Always like how the piston tops clean up. Installing my Lakeland super regulator today. It's only taken me 6 months. Attachments:

Biker Don tip #542: Motomaster combustion chamber cleaner. Soak rags with this stuff and let sit on the pistons for a couple hours. The carbon softens and scrapes off like butter with a plastic scraper. I also checked ring grooves for build up. Looked fine.

Mostly mud, maybe some brine. Late last year I got caught on a section of hwy 35 that was ripped up and muddy. I was pretty po'd about it, there was no posted notice. Bike, boots, pants, jacket totally covered in mud. Only now getting to it. She'll be lookin pretty again for Paris.
