I didn't know he was doing H1 stuff,I inquired and never heard back... I believe he's doing stock carbs only though. It would be nice to see him do something similar with more of a performance carb, be it round or flat slide.
I take it you bought a kit Ian, it will be interesting to hear some feedback from your findings.

I did Walms..the kits are on sale or were as of today. I bought the H1 hit for the "B" Ivan asked if the bike was stock( Snorkel, pipes etc).yes sir..It seems with his kit a 105 main is needed up from a 100. Guess I'll have to wait to spring for a test ride..lol

It would be nice to see him do something similar with more of a performance carb, be it round or flat slide. He said he plans to do a kit for VM34s when time permits.

When I installed the Kit I left the air screws at 1 1/4..today with a K&N filter installed and 102.5 mains instead of 105 I originally installed with the kit I went for a ride.. After a warm up the motor bogged big time..But once at 3000 look out , crap it runs GREAT . It pulls cleanly up to redline and then and smooth at 70 plus..just feels NICE.. The bog was still there though..So I turned the air screws in until it took off nicely..the final setting is 1/4-1/2 turns out which means bigger pilots.
