If that's Shannonville, I was probably in the crowd... Lang and Art mixed it up pretty good... Michelle Mercer was still in 750 production at the time, my flat track hero

I kick my butt for never going to a bike race . Other than the vintage bike race at Mosport last summer , I have never watched one . Too busy with cars I guess .

We went to most if not all the races especially The super bike weekend. The stands were always jammed, bikes everywhere ;D .

We went to most if not all the races especially The super bike weekend. The stands were always jammed, bikes everywhere ;D . I can remember the amount of RD's that raced at that track... Just insane!!! The 1 or 2 triples in the crowd sounded soooo much sweeter as they went bye. Hard to argue which bike was the preferred one to race though! Do any of you guys remember the guy riding the RM 250, with 21 front tire? That guy made so much hp over the rest of the crowd, he always was in the mix even though the road bikes would eat him up in the corners! I remember going to the pits just to meet the guy, I thought he was so cool for doing something so unorthodox and looking good doing it.

I dont get to many races anymore, but I remember the good times we had racing in the 70s. My first ride on a triple was at the Mosport 24 hr in 1974 if memory serves,a new S-1.The bike was supplied by Cycle World East in Hfx.I was a late entry on the team of 5 guys and they told me I would be lucky to get more than a shift or two,but was keen and went anyway. As it turned out by midnight everyone had had enough and I rode most of the night ,it was quite a time. From then on there was a series of S-2 and s-3 models which I raced on very track I could drive to in 12 hours from home.Back then it was Bryer(laconia),Sanair had the Brimaco series,,mount Tremblanc, there was a race track way up on the end of Lac St.John, did a national there .Of course did all the races at Shubanacadie and before that Pennfield and before that of course Debert. I had a few rides on H-2 s,but I really liked the s-3 model,it was a good race bike. I won the Maritime Championship on one in 77.I had a TZ250 78-79 When 81 came along the 350LC from Yam were around and it was my new ride and that was the end for the triples. I kept a KH250 and am now in the process of getting it running, reading this forum is getting me fired up,cant wait the rear that sound again.
