I see some real nice shiny instrument modules and switch assemblies (the ones on the handle bars). So what paint are you using and any particular method? The white letters etc I was going to use a toothpick and white paint, or??? The ones on my 400 are very nice but they were like that when I got it so I never touched them.

This is a H1E so the instrument module is black and I would say plastic. But I hear the Harley paint brought up regularily so is all the harley paint good? I was thinking of the Case International Black or John Deere Black because they are heavy and sticky and don't run even on cool steel, just not sure how they would be on plastic. Model paint, never would have thought of it. The instrument module on my 400 is very shiny and smooth, I am wondering if I should sand the ones on the 500 before I paint them, as in 2500 grit, I would think I would need something to fill the tiny grooves then, or would the paint do that? the model spray paint sounds like a good one. I will also use H2 dudes system on the letters.
