Canadian Triples Racers to be honered at Mosport

I thought this belongs in the road race section.

Get out to Mosport to meet the racers that drove the triples back in the day and watch the Canadian Superbike Race.

Three of the original members of the Factory Kawasaki Canada Race Team will be honored at Mosport as part of the Masters of Mosport event.

Chris Manley, Ed Turjanica, Derek Mitchell, Were riding the Open Class H2r, Production 750 H2's and 350 S2's and the Z1's up to 1974 for Manley's Kawasaki the distributor of Kawasaki at that time. It was a site to see when Yvon Duhamel and Chris Manley both were riding H2r's at Mosport.

Richard Jagoe will also be there. Richard raced an S2 for some time and moved to the bigger bikes with the "LITE RACING TEAM" who were one of the top 24hour endurance teams in the 80's.

Come out and meet the guys and enjoy the Canadian Superbike races.

This should be a great event for the Kawasaki triple fans and the Canadian Superbike fans too!

So if you can't make the VRRA event this weekend there's always next weekend, August 20th. for the Canadian Superbike Races and to come out and and see The Masters of Mosport!

It's kawasaki for sure.
I went to the track with Chris today and Szoke said he's gona win. So there.

Szoke was on a Honda last year and cleaned house and won everything. I think Kawasaki pissed him off so he had something to prove!

I guess it worked, he's back on a Kawasaki for 2011.

This year the BMW 1000RR with Brett McCormick riding seems to be winning everything with Szoke placing second more offend then not.

It should be an exciting weekend and I'm sure Jim will take a load of pictures.

Just a heads up...

If anyone is interested, same plan as last weekend. We are meeting at the Country Kitchen in Uxbridge at 8:30 Saturday morning for breakfast then off to the track at 9:30 get to the track for 10:00.

Some of the boys are planing dinner after but I'm not to sure of the where or when at this point.
