Just have to paint them, anyone have a good idea for paint or did something to theirs that they wish they had not or glad they did Yipee S2 pipes, Hard to find FYI, in the pic when enlarged it looks like there is rust on the pipe, there isnt its just the pic, actually the pic does not do the pipes justice. Sorry about the customs fee Karl. That's the first time I've heard of that happening between here and Canada, using the US and Canadian postal services. If I knew, I might have filled out the paperwork a little differently.
I'm glad they finally got there, and it looks like they made it safely. I'll be waiting for the ride report.
I put a little WD-40 on them to keep them from rusting during shipping, so wipe them off with a rag and some paint thinner before you coat them.

Customs through the the post office is kind of hit and miss. It seems they have a value limit. I usually get stung if it's a couple hundred buck value but if it's 40 bucks or less they usually let it slide.
There's an outfit in Ottawa called RLD that does Cermachrome. Its like a powder coat that gives the appearance of chrome and will stand up to the heat. My friend had his Jollymoto's done and they look pretty good.

Always nice to see a good fabrication job!
Did the post office charge you HST plus the usual $5.00 brokerage, or is this $77 some new sort of additional charge on top of the usual taxes?
