Did the 350 come stock with black fork ears? My 400 has chrome ones, the 500 H1E had chrome which has peeled off and I want to replace them but I can only find black ones for an H2 and I am not sure they would fit on the H1E, your bikes look very nice.

I think all the '72 model triples had painted fork ears and all the later models had chrome. If the ones you have are straight, your best bet is to have them rechromed -- finding better ones (used or NOS) is going to be very difficult. I've seen H2B/C ears (the rarest, I think) go for $400 a pair on eBay...used!

I see blackH2 ears at reproduction decals, would they fit the 500H1E? H2/A ears don't allow for the signals, therefore you would need to switch your headlight bucket too (or jury rig it). I would keep an eye on eBay and see what turns up..late H1 ears do appear from time to time.

KZ ears would be better for that kind of jury ;D certain KZ ears are similar to H2B, just a titch shorter on the ear part

I've looked at those, and they are usually cheap.
