with the help of some fine triple folk here and KTW I managed to cross yet another stumbling block, not completely yet as I still need a hand to line up 1 motor mount so I can put the bolt through it but....sofar, sogood Attachments:

Love that scalloped tank! But then again, I might be a bit bias ;D Nice polish job on the front end too! Ya need to get rid of those ape hangers thou and put on flat bars (was an option from kaw). J

Ya need to get rid of those ape hangers thou and put on flat bars (was an option from kaw). J lc, you wouldn't happen to have a part no. would you?

I believe the original Kaw pn is shown in the parts diagram as the optional bar. This OEM bar likely is no longer available.
I suggested the idea as when I changed my bars out years ago I found the seating position to be much more comfortable than using the standard north american bars. The best bars years back were made by Randall or Randnall? The bends started just outbd the bar clamps (other makes had the bends spread allot further apart), The Randnall bar's angle was quite comfortable.
It is a 7/8 in bar. There was a vendor on evilbay selling "drag bars" at one time. The chopper crowd might have something close too.
