Well I was working on an H2 tach and the turn signal jewel had that dull, opaque look to it...... I spent about 10 minutes shining it up with...Brasso! Not perfect..but I was pleased with the improvement

Nice save Ian. I didn't try that on the H1B project BUT I got similar results . For the life of me I forget what I used..one of Sandra's cleaning products..

Looks good. I have had real good luck with Novus products. We use them at work to clean up the instrument panels on tractors. There are 3 grades but #2 is sufficient for dainty things. www.novuspolish.com/fine_scratch_remover.html

I just refaced my KH meters this weekend, I used the Z tip on the lens too, works real nice. I was so glad I did the reface, I almost took a picture. Thanks to Soup for showing me how to crack the can open, I also had him seal them shut again too. I did all the intermediate work, painted needles, laid and cut the decals. slick man, really really, really slick !! Dude in London did a bang up job on my Decals, and I would place them as "best in the world" for quality
