One of the last pieces put on to make it fully stock. Still need a black chainguard and h1d gauges. Not a big deal tho. Recovered my seat with new foam and side strips. This job falls in the dreaded category. Thanks to zambia for some tips on smoothing out the creases from the cover packaging. I let it sit in the sun for a few hours and stretched the snot out of it but a few lines can still be seen. Gonna put the heat gun on it tomorrow.

Would like to. Its pretty comfortable for long rides. I need to fix a couple leaky seals, otherwise I'll need to carry extra tranny oil and might lose the front brake!

Yeah, took a long ride tonight with this bike after heat gunning the seat. Didnt see any leaks after my fixes. We're good for the tub.

Got the D started up today with no fuss after sitting all winter. I can still smell a bit of leftover klotz running through it. A true pleasure to ride in stock form, smooth, responsive, well rounded power. Honks when you givr. Plus it was a perfect day for a ride.
