I must say that I'm not the owner of the bike. The true story is Georges MARTIN, french frame maker who has built Egli type frames for CB 750, Z1 and GT 750 on the early seventies then special frames for big japanese four cylinders( and also Lotus seven S3 copy at the end of the eighties) has received ftrom frenchs and swiss guys a special order to build this special frame for H2 at the beginning of the eighties. It's beleived 10 frames have been done, 6 for the frenchs and 4 for the swiss, the buyers must to find the motor, a pipe maker, a tank maker and so on and, at my knowledge, no bike has a title except a genuine Kawaski H2 title from an "ordinary H2". The price is difficult to know: a frame without motror and body or pipe has beeen offered to me at 6000 euros but I don't buy it. The problem is Martin frame is usually a good looking frame but not a quality frame. One is actually to sell on french E bay but I don't say to buy it cause the seller is well know to sell bad triple and the price asked seems to me crazy cause it's a bike without title and an empty motor If you want have a lok at : cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=230203995555&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=013

The small triangle is one of the plate to fit the motor on the frame. the motor is rubber mounting from the outside as do some japanese guys for early H2 (72 73).

I think one of these Curtis tanks would be cool for an H2, that way you wouldn't have to worry about running out of gas. Come to think of it I probably still would run out of gas. Sorry off topic. brawney
