With some help from Roland and Anthony, I have my bike fitted with a set of wirges... thanks guys! I didn't notice too much of a loss below 6k but after that it defiantly pulls stronger than stockers. Look like I will need to jet up to 100's though, I'm getting a wee bit of detonation now. youtube.com/watch?v=_fGhaLb8bxw

Andrew, The louder the better, can't wait to run with you. Once you've run chambers there's no turning back, I can tell by the smirk on your face you love em. My wife won't even ride on that white one, too loud for her. The white one is now just a memory, it was fun for summer.

Yup, she sounds pretty good going down Broadway... ;D ;D ;D Repacking the baffles would probably be in order but I'd hate to ruin a good thing...

Andrew, I guess you're not running a speedometer cable? I'm using your photo here as a reference. I've got a line on getting a zx6 master cylinder with 2 front calipers and I'm debating whether to go double disk up front. I was concerned that by moving the caliper behind the fork leg (like you've done) I would interfere with the speedometer cable. I see you have a magnet on your spoke with the LCD readout at the handlebar mounts. Did you run into this problem yourself?

I flipped the wheel to get the small piston of the caliper on the leading edge... (Some folks say this isn't required ) But besides the functionality, I always felt the caliper in the stock position looks goofy... (Sorry I'm not a purest...lol) It does screw up the speedo though. For me, the speedo isn't a huge deal …7K in 5th is about 100mph… and if people are passing me, I’m not going fast enough… but I missed the odometer, since I need to find a gas station soon as it hits triple digits.... Hence the bicycle speedo setup… I suppose it isn’t perfect but it works for me… ;D

If you had a left side caliper though, instead of the right, and didn't have to flip the wheel, would you have had a clearance issue with the speedo cable?

I don't think there is a problem with that Anthony... You can just make out the speedo fitting in the pic... It would be rotated 180 deg. from where it is now but it is well away from the caliper.... Unless I'm not understanding your question.
