Sweet looking pipes! Your bike sporting reeds too? I've heard those boost bottles help with the transition burble around 4-5k. Have you noticed any performance increase and would they work on a piston port? BTW welcome to the board.

the Bootle is suppose to help down low . don,t know if it works yet will find out soon as i finish the pipes. the reeds alone increased bottom end grunt considerably. as for the bottle working on piston port engine guess i will have to try it one day. the reeds are from a srx 700 Yamaha triple sled and i added two more transfer ports and windows in the pistons. we will see how it performs i was thinking of running larger carbs maybe a set of keihin pwk 33 mm. question do you guys think the pipes would look better up swept at the stinger?

I like upswept pipes...but that's just me, my first triple had J&R's when everyone else had Wirges...so I liked the upsweep. Those pipes look cool no matter what. Fat, and bad!

thanks guy but sadly they are gonna be silenced.i live in a neighborhood that is predominately over 70 and they complain about how loud the lawn mower is. so i am keeping them as quiet as possible.the stinger is moved an inch into the rear baffle.

I'm in the process of making my own pipes too... What are you using for pipe shape and layout tools? It looks like a 2 stage baffle simular to mine... just curious.

i,m using trs to design the pipes and mota engine simulator to test the designs.this pipe i kinda borrowed from the kawasaki resources page from kawasakitriplesworldwide board and tweaked it a little.i may tweak it some more. i can get it to peak at 8500 with 28 hp or peak at 9500 and make 32 hp have not decided yet. it starts making power around 7200.not sure if the extra 4 hp is worth the wear and tear?
