1994 Kenworth Day Cab 6600 Series Detroit Diesel 6 inch Straight pipes 24.5" Aluminum wheels Tweaked Injector pump Just finished the first coat of polishing wheels, air breathers, stacks, tank, checkerboard frame topper and bumper. To re run all new air lines, new air bags, new brakes with 1 new slack adjuster, have the bodywork done and painted, total of 60 hours labour. I love this truck, I will get a nice picture maybe tomorrow when it comes back from Cornwall with the grinder hooked up to it.

nice job Curtis. I spent a few hours wrenching on Detroits myself in Freightliners. Most of my time was changing tires and trailer brakes. ;D I helped tear down a 60 to to have a head fixed with the help of my friend/diesel mechanic "Barley". Place is a $hit hole called Cargosmasher (master actually)
Ever heard of Knills Trucking? He's building an old 40's Chev pickup with a V8 CAT 460 I think it is. A streetable hotrod with 6 inch straight pipes and lots a ponies. Can't wait to go for a spin in that thing. Your a Truck wrencher too? Not me, just a damn good Bithc

Ya, my old man drove dump truck for 20 some years, i helped him wrench on them from about the age of 9 till 117 i believe
Then he sold em and I went to small engines, but quit that job and now I am back wrenchin on big trucks and equipment.
That cat would put out a shit ton of power... We had a 1976 Mack 2 stick, that thing was a hoot to drive, 55mph top speed at 4500rpm haha
