Just got back in from a short blast on the H2. I lowered the rods 1/2 turn (still chicken). Most of the four stroking is gone! Plugs show a little colour (something other than black) woohoo. So I think I'll go another 1/2 turn. Noticed the right cylinder has a little less "pop" at the exhaust. Is this a reasonable indication of poor compression? ian Perhaps, but check your carb sync. J

Thanks, Scott. I'm getting closer and closer. I know the slides are a bit off because I can hear them drop individually. That right cylinder sounds different too, but that could be carb as well. Hmm, sure wish I knew what I was doing. ian
