the drive chain past those big fat tires? Trying to fit a GSXR swingarm and a 180 rear tire...... using a 3/8 offset counter sprocket and it just aint gonna work.

Probably just a case of the dang frame being too narrow. At least you have more space on the H1 then I do with the 400 frame… I doubt I’d be able to put anything wider then a 130 on my frame… Maybe the only solutions is to split and spread the rear of the frame?

3/8" offset max on front sprocket without outboard support. Modify rear sprocket carrier to get chain as close as possible to tire. Also alot of dragbike's don't have the wheels in line so rear can be offset alittle to the right. We don't do corners so wheel alignment isn't that critical.

Ya......... 3/8" is probably max before the chain eats the frame anyways ;D good point about rear wheel alignment.

- Anyone ever put a mid shaft with two sprockets on it on the swingarm pivot and run a short front chain to that shaft then another from the outboard sprocket to the wheel? Just a thought. ... Dick J. - NY
