At the ManCup race last weekend there were 25 bikes in S/E, wide range of bikes from CB750s and H2s to modern Busa's and ZX14's. The modern bikes ranged from near stock to a turbo Busa and Nitrous 14s. No. 1 qualifier, quickest bike in the field....a 1972 H2. Nice!!

- Don't believe everything you read in mags. They sometimes make multiple runs to get the results they are looking for. I ran my H2 in stock class against stock Z1's and almost always got passed just before the 1/4 mile finish. I almost always got the hole shot too. As far as road racing it wasn't the frame (that was the problem) it was ground clearance. Stock pipes would drag, especially on the right. Of course on the street it was the center stand, which is why I had it wired up, so centrifugal force would not allow it to pull on the spring and scrape. - Good to read all your comments. Best wishes for the up coming holidays! ... Dick J. - NY

- Got to say guy, my limit on the street was usually my rear tire; worn flat from drag racking.
