Ive just installed rebuilt crankshaft and closed cases up When i rotate the crankshaft it rotates smoothly and then goes a bit tight i don't have to put to much force it just seems to have a tight spot any ideas Thanks inadvance

That would definitely worry me.. I would open the cases and 1) spin all the bearings to see if they are free 2) make sure the seals aren't binding 3) set it in some V blocks and check run-out

Pull the oil pump (if fitted) from the case and see if the stiff spot goes away.

Thanks for your replys i slackened all the crank case nuts turned engine the right way upand turned the crankshaft by hand it it turned freely i think i over torqued it flipped it back over and gradually tighten the nuts up and kept checking the crankshaft smoothness its now all seems good

FWIW,
The Glenn's manual states 23 ft/lbs for the 10mm nuts and 5 ft/lbs for the 6mm nuts. They are be torqued in a sequence, also shown in the Glenn's manual.

Spec is for 10mm stud nuts... not 10mm nuts.
