just putting the carbs back together after cleaning and getting ready to start it, but first I need to know a few things
The 1976 KH500 was also known as H1? ABCDE or was it?
What is the float Height supposed to be Im finding 30mm +-1 mm, is that correct ?
Air screw is ? I see its either 1/2 turn or 1.25 to 1.75 turns, this is not for fine tuning just initial start up what works best, fine tuning comes later, at this point I just want to start it or see if it starts.
Let me know.
after I check for spark and stuff I'll make a vid of the first start.

Below is a link to the resource site page with a summary of the 76 models. It looks like all models used a KH identity that year. www.kawatriple.com/model/1976.htmBelow is a link to the carb specs sheet from the resource site. It looks like the float height is 23.0 - 25.0 mm. www.kawatriple.com/carbspec.htmlThe carb sheet does not spec the air screw but I think 1.5 turns out would be a place to start.

Where is Brad on the list ? ( just joking) I am hoping to meet some by of those guys in the future. We left Ottawa in September and moved to Wateroo. Apparently I am known on my street as the new guy with the cool bikes.
