Hey guys, I've been struggling trying to remove the clutch actuator on my 73 H1 and it doesn't want to budge. Is there a way to remove it from he sprocket side? Looks like it should just pull out once the screws are removed.
Thanks

Use a hooked pick or screw driver and gently work around its edges. Its probably just stuck in with old dried out grease or maybe some kind of gasket goop.

No way to remove it from the other side unless you split the cases

Thanks guys. Just want to be very sure. Concerned I'll break the old plastic and end up in a worse scenario.

They can be stubborn if they have never been out ,,, sometimes its easier to remove the sprocket to give yourself some more room,, I use a large flat head screw driver and hammer to tap it and get to rotate back and forth first,,, then try to pry each side a little at a time working it out,,, some penetrating oil helps as well ...

Finally got it out. Took about 15 minutes of wiggling with 2 hook tools. Now does anyone in Canada stock replacements?

- Good to see a new post here. I have not been on for a while. - I know the clutch actuator on my H2 has had a workout over the years and actually has some cracks in it. But, I have a spare too. - Will be trying to put my H2 back together soon, after replacing a crank seal. May be asking for assistance too. You are a great bunch of guys. Hope you are all staying safe and well!
