Good day, As the thread title suggests I have a wee problem with the points on my 74 S3. Bike ran absolutely mint; I removed the side covers / points assembly as 1 complete unit to polish the aluminum. Re-installed everything annnnnd… No Spark on any cylinder. I’m horrible at electronics and even worse at points. Any tips or things I should looks into to help diagnose the problem? I couldn’t find any loose wires, Maybe something gave way in the loom as I weaved it back through the frame.. …and Yes I plugged everything back in
Thanks guys!!

Since the bike ran fine before the stator plate was removed I suspect it is something simple like a bad connection, kill switch off, wire unplugged. Start at the connections, do you have 12vlts there? if so work your way back. If not then look to the switch or kill switch.

Got the S3 ready to rock and roll for next year! I think it came down to dirty ignition from polishing / bad ground. youtu.be/G7WwBAoUfE4
