I couldn't resist the chance to disturb my neighbour. These 2 look the same though. Which is right and centre?

That picture is not very good ?So I am not sure.Hard to tell from the picture ? But those two pipes do look like they are for the same position, if the brackets are the same length ? If they were different mount pipes IE Center and RH the brackets would be different length one longer on shorter ?

I think they are both rights. Can I just put an extension on the one for the centre?

Probably not. The angle of the head pipe might be different. Might involve cutting the head pipe and repositioning it and rewelding. Not a big deal if the pipe wasn't chrome ? How did you end up with two pipes the same ?

I would hang the centre pipe. Then rotate the upper with the front loosely on the cyl, bend and shorten the mounting bracket to see close it is. Brad

How did you end up with two pipes the same ? I hope the pics below of the bike right side pipes can help you. These are the H2 Denco's I got from Keith. Pipe on the left is the top. The different bracket lengths and different head pipe angles mentioned by Keith can be seen. Dave

I got them to fit. I had to make a bracket and bend it.

Here are a few more pictures showing the mounting positions that I had from Adam's H2.

Glad you managed to get the pipe on the bike.Although it isn't the classic fit and it isn't tucked in like it should be.Make sure there aren't any clearance issues of any kind when driving it, IE: In Hard right turns ? Hopefully it will be good enough to suit your needs. Why were there two pipes the same ? In the set ?

It was my fault for trusting someone on ebay. He had three Dencos for sale listed separately but all in a row. The implication is that it was a set. Obviously not.

NOT "your" fault. It's the guy that sold them to you. HIS fault. So you ended up with TWO RH upper pipes ? I would suggest not altering that pipe. It might be possible to scare up a center pipe and exchange it ? With someone that has one.

Hey Dave, you sure do seem to have your problems with pipes. Are you not using the original pipes? Brad

I am keeping the originals Brad. I just don't feel good about being quiet because my neighbour who is only here in the summer constantly complains about my loud bikes.
