Hey guys,
Looking for guidance on painting the letters on my controls.
Left side I think it goes white for the low beam, high beam, indicator arrows and horn button. With the parking one left black since its not there on Canadian models.
Right side I think its just white for lights on off and red for kill switch off on off. The PO and S stay black because they aren't there.
Correct?

A follow up to this, I'm wondering if any of you have an idea about where the tiniest spring in the world could have come from. It's even smaller than the springs in the kill switch assembly. All the other switches seem to have the correct springs so I'm at a loss. I don't have a pic yet but it's just the tiniest thing you've ever seen. I don't think it could go anywhere besides in the switch housing.

Is it from behind your Knob contact?

hmm... It's hard to tell without the picture yet but maybe for the horn button... or like 42sixHemi says knob contact.

Here's a pic. See how tiny it is? Next to it is the kill switch, I have all three springs in there already. Can't for the life of me think where such a small spring would be. 2012 mercedes s550 0 60

Possibly part of steering lock.

I never did find it, I think you may be right, could be one of the springs from the seat lock too.
Controls came out great afterwards. Used a small syringe to fill the letters.
