Hi raimo, they at Vrra want only vintages riders with vintages bikes? no vintages riders with recent bike? please comment tzrcarbonn 28 02 2018 1.20 pm.

SUMMARY OF THE VINTAGE RACING CLASSES 1. PRE-50: Motorcycles manufactured before December 31, 1949. 2. PRE-65: Motorcycles of a maximum model year 1964. There are two displacement classes: 350cc and 500 cc. 3. PERIOD ONE CLASSIC VINTAGE: Maximum model year 1967. Any machine originally manufactured for roadracing, or a machine subsequently modified for roadracing. There are five classes: 200, 250, 350, 500 and Open 4. PERIOD TWO SUPERVINTAGE: Maximum model year 1972. Any machine originally manufactured for roadracing or a machine subsequently modified for roadracing. There are two classes: Lightweight and Heavyweight 5. MIDDLEWEIGHT PRODUCTION: Maximum model year 1976. Any machine originally sold for street use and subsequently modified for road racing. This class is considered part of Period 2. 6. PERIOD THREE: Maximum model year 1982. Any machine originally manufactured for roadracing or a machine subsequently modified for roadracing. There are three classes: Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight. 7. PERIOD FOUR: Maximum model year 1989. Any machine originally manufactured for roadracing or a machine subsequently modified for roadracing. There are three classes: F3, F2 and F1. 8. VINTAGE GP: Only factory built 2 stroke roadracing machines are eligible. All machines must comply with Period 1, 2, 3 or 4 rules as applicable. There are three classes: Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight. 9. GRAND PRIX: exclusively for factory built 2-stroke road racing machines manufactured past the Period 4 cut-off date of 1989. SIDECAR: There are four classes for outfits built before the cut-off dates or constructed after such dates and consistent in design and construction with outfits actually built in that period: 10. P1 Classic for outfits built before 1968 P2 Supervintage for outfits built before 1973 P2 Heavyweight for outfits built before 1977 11. P3 for outfits built up to and including 1982 SPECIAL FEATURE RACES These classes are only run at the annual VRRA Vintage Motorcycle Festival. WARWICK CUP: Created to honour one of the VRRA’s founding members, Doug Warwick. This class is limited to British four-strokes up to 500cc, maximum model year 1967. Period one rules apply. McGILL MASTERS: Created in memory of another founding member, Tom McGill, this class is for experienced riders 50 and older. It is usually divided into three groups for each period: Lightweight - up to 350 cc, Middleweight - 500cc, and Heavyweight - over 500cc for Period 1 and according to the regular Light, Middle and Heavy classes for the remaining periods.
Race School May 31st 2018:
The VRRA in conjunction with Racing Associates Canada Events (RACE) will present for 2018, two racing schools.
The VRRA Stage 1 School is intended to instruct riders in the basic skills required for organized road racing competition. Riders who successfully pass this course will be eligible for a VRRA racing membership, and are also eligible to apply for a RACE license. Riders under the age of 18 years at the time of the scheduled school must contact the VRRA to obtain an underage consent form prior to application. There will be on-track sessions for the entire day, coupled with classroom discussions.
The classroom sessions will cover the material required for a racing license. In addition we will cover VRRA race weekend procedures, registration, machine preparation and technical requirements. The on-track sessions will cover racing lines, practice grids and starts, and on-track behavior.

Here are the bikes I wish to race, very expensive, a 400 cc 2017 and a 800 cc 2016, not good for the VRRA, the 400 cc ducati is not listed in 400 cc CBSK amateur superbike lightweigh classe, the 800 cc is good for the 1000 cc 118 hp. it have only 73 hp, tzrcarbonn

In P3, light, middle and heavy weight, how does that translate into cc's?

P3 light 2 strokes up to 400 4strokes to 550 liquid 250 P3 middle 2 strokes to 550 4 strokes to 750(fours)850 twins liquid 350 P3 heavy 2 strokes to 750 4 strokes 1000 all up to 82.There is some other language(exceptions)in there but that's the jest Brad

our 400's run in P2 middle our 500's and 750's run in P2 heavy P3 is the bump up class much faster Brad

Mostly its vintage riders too because they are the guys that like vintage bikes. Was talking to a buddy today.There doesn't seem to be much intrest in the s3 so I think his son will be racing it for me and I will be his wrench/crew.
