I finally got around to doing the final install of my clutch kit. in doing so I whipped up this "instructional" video to go along with my PDF Work Instruction (which is linked in video description). I really hope this help anybody who's planning on doing the install. Everything worked really really well and I'm incredibly happy with how it all turned out.
THANKS NED!

Just watched this same video on you tube via a 2 stroke site on Facebook. Very clear and informative. Nice to see Ned getting props for such a clean set up

Thanks!! I sort of spread it out on the inter web. It took me long enough to do all the research on them so I made the video / work instruction to help others and promote the product.

This really is quality kit but it's the devils own work to bleed. Much easier with a commercial piston from Ebay with the same dimensions (easy to find and cheap).
I have been using this for 2 years without any thought about it working because it's so reliable.

I have a few of these for sale - on behalf of Ned... + my markup! I am new to the forum, I managed to acquire a 73 H2 last year which needs a total rebuild, this bike is going to be my keeper. I had one as a youth and regretted selling it. I'd like to convert to a hydraulic clutch and read about Ned's conversion kit. Are the slave cylinders still available and if so how do I go about purchasing one. thanks for any help provided.

I have been using the kit for two years and am more than pleased with it, I use DOT 5 without any issue. The part that actually made the biggest difference on my bike was changing the clutch push rod for a straight one so check this first.
My H1 now has the lightest and smoothest clutch of any of my bikes.

I've taken apart brake cylinders (and masters) that were two geological eras past tar - I'm talking about something resembling ground up bones.
Not that I know what that's like .. my ex wife is fine...
