Can anybody give thoughts on what brand of clutch cable should I buy, my clutch is so heavy even after I installed a new French made release worm and std clutch springs, ideally should be teflon lined and fine wire, there are dozens for sale on eBay but were to start.Tx

This is not the answer you're looking for..but you should consider an hydraulic unit...problem solved. I can fix you up with the pusher (sounds shady) and all you need is a MC, cable and lever.

I agree with what Zambia said but since it looks like you've already invested some scratch in the mechanical approach, maybe try Motion Pro, they make custom cables and likely have the variety you are looking for.

A tremendous amount of friction can come from just the lever pivot bolt, and cable end in the lever. Make sure they are greased.
