Your pipe is all packaged and ready to send off. We can inquire at the post office what the postal situation is like ? And OK to hold off too until the postal striking stuff is over. If you want.Glad you can make use of the pipe.It is a good solid pipe. And the baffle is solid and slides in and out of the pipe nicely. You will appreciate that after all you went through with the stuck one.

Took the rear wheel apart.....things in there had not been looked at for a while. The rear brake shoe lining popped off the shoe as I was taking it off. Picking up new rear brakes and a wheel bearing kit on Friday. Took the time to clean everything up nice while I have it apart.

Mine fell off when I took the wheel off. If you can take the hole assembly to a truck shop they might be able to arke them to the drum diameter. It will make sure all surfaces contact at the same time.

Happy to hear that the pipe arrived quickly and safe and sound. Glad it will suit your needs. The broken baffle is now a thing of the past. Now you can move on to better things.

Rear brakes are done....2 All balls bearing kits later and I still don’t have the correct rear bearings! Ugh Finally went to local bearing supplier!!
I have my 3 baffles (thanks Acceleration) all cleaned up. Do you guys paint the baffles with high heat paint or just leave the metal bare and wrap them up with fiberglass?

We usually blast the baffles clean right down to the bare metal and then apply high temp coating and then wrap with fiberglass packing.

When repacking the baffles don't put too much IE: Too thick. The stuff will expand when it starts to build up oil etc and you can end up having difficulty removing them when that happens. You don't want that to happen again !!
