Hey guys,
Another question I need a little guidance.
Bike starts fine but right cylinder won't come up to temp. It runs nothing past 80 degrees on the head pipe and the other two will run upwards of 200. The plug always comes out wet.
Things I've checked
Carb is very clean Float is adjusted and it does float. 24mm height no gasket. Choke cables adjusted properly as per mraxl sites Needle and seat look ok. No grooves seat is brand new. Have good spark tried a few different plugs (no difference) Throttle cable adjusted and functions properly. Compression is 150psi

In my experiance, if the plug is coming out wet, then you probably don't have a good strong spark on that cylinder. In low light, the spark should be big fat and blue. Compare it to the others and see if they're all the same, if not, start checking ignition componets. Oh the joys of getting these old girls to run well.

I had the same problem on my KH250. Eventually discovered that the needle jet was damaged.Very slightly mushroomed in the venturi end, probably from someone trying to remove it incorrectly. Remove the carb to airbox rubber and start the engine, have someone rev up the engine as you watch the fuel as it atomizes in the carb throat. If you see whole droplets of fuel, rather then a fine fog like mixture, then you have found the problem.

a quick way of testing spark is too remove the plug cap and lay the wire between the fins. It should jump at least 3/16 to 1/4 in and you will see a fat blue spark. if less then you may have a problem. My points H1B jumps a healthy 3/16 plus plus gap . To me it sounds like fuel issues . Are the needle and jets original or aftermarket? are the carbs sync equally? maybe the right side is lagging. Is the choke plunger seat all the way down?

Thanks for replays guys...
I have big blue spark on all. The carb internals are original oem Kawasaki. Plungers do seat all the way.
I took it for a ride and it ran great.. surprisingly! Plugs are a nice dark chocolate brown... maybe I had the cylinder loaded up..? Idk
