Next problem is, besides having three left/center carbs (and no correct right one), that the left has a messed up pilot jet that some PO has apparently tried drilling, twice!!
Has anyone come up with an ingenious way of removing a pilot that's had the screwdriver slot obliterated?? Or, am I stuck with having to replace the carb body?? Thx.

Have you tried a small "easy out" yet?

Just disassembled the carbs last night so, no, I haven't tried anything yet.
It's pretty tiny - don't recall seeing 'easy-outs' that small but I'll see if I can locate one.
Thanks

That's where I'm headed right after work... Andrew, do you carry that thing with you at all times - just in case?? Cheers, N.

a little heat near the pilot jet will help.

Found a small easy-out and used some heat ...
... and it was still a complete FAIL!
Now I'll be needing a carb body - got all the innards.
I hate when that happens.

I had to take mine to my machine shop guy. He got it out by drilling it. It came out fine. Best 10 bucks I ever spent.
