My clutch lever is super stuff...and by that I mean it won't even pull in at all.
I'm pulling my motor next week for an overhaul and just curious what things I should look for to free up the clutch. The plan is to put one of Ned's hydraulic clutches in the bike as well; not sure if that would fix the problem or not though.

Clutch plates tend to stick together after sitting but I'm thinking everything in the basket would need to be fused for that to happen... to be honest, I'm not exactly sure? Maybe the cable is seized???

I'll see you there! I mentioned it to Joe but haven't heard back. Probably wouldn't work out with his shop hours anyways though...

my clutch lever was like that after sitting for 27 years I slow and gently started moving the lever and finally got the lever moving. Once I got the bike going I couldn't get it in gear because the clutch plates were all stuck together so I replaced the clutch plates and all was good.

What are you guys running for clutch discs and springs?
I've been looking at a few options but with Ned's hydraulic clutch I'm not entirely sure on which route to take.

I use Vesrah fibres and barnetts springs. I also use barnetts steels thinner than stock to make a 15 plate clutch. Do not buy vesrah steels, I bought a set and they were conical, not flat. Basically garbage.
