Maybe I should get my 'agent' mining that territory for me.

There could be h2's lurking in the 'Bush?!! And... I'm not above wheeling and dealing an h1, S1, kh400 or the like.

My two "agents" left that area a couple of weeks ago. One of them would have bought it for himself I'm sure.

False alarm, boys!
Turns out the bike is an H1A - note the cap on the oil tank and lack of vent tube. Also, no latching gas cap or holes for the red reflectors on the grab rail.
Not that I picked up on any of that until I spoke with the owner. I was ready to get out there to pick it up if it was an actual H1C, maybe a 16 hour round trip, and I'm next door to Samskatchewan.
It's missing the distributor cover cause it went down on that side. Damaged the cover, the cap and worst of all, the engine case.
The guy is cleaning house (and garage) before selling the place. Bikes been in the garage for 20+ years. He didn't want to go much cheaper for the the H1 but was willing to throw in the 175 Harley 2-stroke (Aermacchi) parts bike in the background. Sounds like it's only got a few decent bits left on it.
Thanks for the heads up on the bike, Ian.
Cheers, N.

Ya, maybe a 4 hour round trip for my 'agent' in the region. Too bad he's not actually 'in he region' yet. I could use some bits for my h1/750 off the carcass.
