Maybe it's a "bullet train", a "fighter jet" or an "oil tanker".

OK "something off the grid"....under the four stroke section....a Kawasaki four stroke generator! Ahh, very good Seaglider... off the ' grid'. If I lived in "the land of snow and ice" outside the GTA, that would likely be a 'must have', but I don't, so I do not have one. Another hint is required two wheels ?? I can say it does have wheels Paul.

Ha! I figured if I posted some pics in Photobucket, somebody would finally have too much time on their hands and dig for it. "You need to get off you computer and get your z1 and h1 Triple projects finished s3steve!!" I've had a 'thing' for the '1st generation' zx10r for a long time. IMO, they're kinda like the "h2 of Litre Bikes". Really fast and a little scary in the way they handle. Super quick and in need of a steering damper! This one comes with an Ohlins unit, so we have that part covered. It's a nice bike with under 11,000 kms, so when it came up, I had to see if I could get it. The fact that it's black and orange is NOT a plus in my eyes, so THAT will change. You can probably guess what the new colour will be!! It's gonna have a 'retro flavour' also. My back and wrists can't handle the clip-ons, so it's gonna have a more upright seating position, and the bodywork is getting a make-over. I'll post up some pics when I have something more for you. As it sits:

My buddy put Helli Bars to raise the clipons a bit and Buell foot pegs for a little more leg room on the ZX9R he got from pipewelder. The toured on it for six weeks.
It's actually pretty comfortable for the sport bike and it all just bolts right on!

It's actually pretty comfortable for the sport bike and it all just bolts right on! Ya, I tried to get Heli-bars for the 2004 zx10r but they're not available for that year. I'm gonna end up with a modified upper triple clamp and bar risers bolted to them. I'll be using drag bars (aka. flat bars) on it. My problem isn't needing room. For me it's too long of a reach! I'm just a little guy ya know. With a long reach from the saddle to the bars, there's too much weight on my forearms and wrists. The old body doesn't like that! My wrist's start to ache and the clutch becomes a huge pain for me. That's a problem I discovered with the Mongrel at the track. Riding the kz550 was no issue at all. Being a little more upright should be all I need to ease the pain.

If you keep it over 100mph,the wind against your chest will keep the weight off your wrists.
