Hello guys I got a new headlight unit from Diablo that fits the original basket. Its come with a 4h 12v 35/35w. The original bulb was a 12v 35/25w bulb. Do I still have to replace the turning and tail lights with led?

I wouldn't think so, with that reasonable increase. In any case, you can gain a small amount by changing the tail light and instrument lights to LED, but changing the turn signals will gain you very little unless you make a lot of turns! Keep an eye on your battery voltage for a little while and you'll know.

Hey Trevor,
Here's a list of lights I just got from superbrightled.com for my H2. Same lights I used in my early H1 for the most part.
The gauge lights are all the same type BA9S-x-120-12V where the x specifies the color (should be matched to the bezel color). BA9S is the base type; 120 is the beam angle.
Neutral light (green): BA9S-G-120-12V Signal indicator (amber): BA9S-A-120-12V Hi beam indicator (red): BA9S-R-120-12V Later models used blue, I believe: BA9S-B-120-12V Gauge ilumination (white): BA9S-W-120-12V
If you want to go further,
signal lights (amber): 1156-A24-WV taillight (red): 1157-R19-W6 Type: 1157; 19 Red LEDs; 6 White LEDs, radially mounted (for license plate illumination).
To use the signal lights you'll need:
electronic flasher unit: LF1-S-PIN Leads may have to be changed from pin-type to blade-type, or vice-versa. diode kit: MDK-1 This is required when there's only one indicator bulb for the signals.
Tip #1: Don't always think brighter is better (like I did). I tried BA9S-x4-32-12V where the x4 means there are 4 LEDs (rather than 1, as in all the gauge lights listed above), and the beam angle is 32 degrees - much more focussed than the 120 degrees, above.
These lights are blindingly bright and directed straight at you from the gauge cluster. Not too bad during daylight hours but you need sunglasses if you're doing any extended night driving with the high beam on, believe me. Tried them and had to replace all with the correct ones listed above.
Tip #2: I also thought the white gauge illumination bulbs weren't as bright as I'd like so I thought I'd try something brighter. I ordered a couple BA9S-CWHP6. CW = cool white, not sure about the HP but 6 means 6 LEDs. These have a 360 degree beam angle BUT they are also slightly oversize. And that's the kicker - they're too large in diameter to fit up into the gauges. So, this is another style to avoid for the triples.
