I know you, because I was you! Maybe I still AM you... no judging here! In many ways, I'm till a 'punk' at 60. 15,000 km is great. I'm certain you learned a ton and congrats for staying upright! That's no small feat this day and age. My ONLY concern would be exploring the limits of a litre bike on the track. Maybe it's just the 'dad' or 'grandpa' in me. I hate to see anyone get hurt. Things can go sideways mighty fast on any bike and especially one of those things. I know you know this. Have fun, whatever you do.

Bernie (my boss) was an expert level rider, raced professionally for BMW in the 70s, and he took his GSXR 750 track bike out and put it in the rhubarb at mosport, he has more track time than any one of us on this board I would be willing to bet, and things still happen when you push a big powerful bike to its limits.

Of course...even the pros crash, I KNOW I will eventually. Doesn't matter what kinda bike you race, you won't find your limits...unless you go beyond them. So why not an old beat up r1, I'd rather that then my triple. All the things I've done on it and I still haven't found its limits, with some race tires and take some weight out of it...should be good fun, plus race school!

youtu.be/SkJd7LL24ec some how this fella put a trans on a viper sled motor...I love the idea, 700 triple. It's possible to get 200HP out of those motors

It sounded pretty docile... Or maybe just geared wrong?

If he used a Harley trans as Curtis suggest, maybe the gears are to far apart for a 2 stroke...or maybe he's just taking it easy

Ahhh, is that bike... Yeah, I guess I shouldn't judge by the sound of that video, I'm sure it scoots given the engine.

It would have been nice to see some power wheelies.
