There was no tank. These are rarer then hens teeth. When this tank was found it was almost flat. The seam had to be cut out of the bottom & the tank pounded back into shape along with some extra mods to fit the additional frame mods. Brad

Sadly no but I am still on the hunt.It takes some serious talent to weld the tank back together as it was very thin & poor quality metal. Not my talent (I wish)but here she is.

That is some serious work Brad, but well worth it !! I am looking for the same drum also. So far $2000 plus for a decent repop. Does your bike have any history?

It's kind of a bitza.Like all race bikes, the older ones got upgrades every year with newer parts & ideas. This one was raced at Daytona by Hughes Racing. With frame mods,TD2 front,& Td2 carbs. Here is the front end.If you look close at the last pic you will see the swing arm is a spondon with tapered roller bearings.I have the original swing arm also.

Left is the proper rear wheel and I will be using this front (right)until I find the original front.

Chuck Huneycutt was building this TD1 at the Barber restoration shop when we were there in 2014.
