I always liked the Velocettes, Manx Nortons and BSA Gold Stars. The easiest way to get one? Yes, a Yamaha. Modern electrics rather than Joe Lucas, the Prince of Darkness. it has cafe parts already. All I had to do was put it together. The tank in the for sale pic did not come with the bike. being a cheapo, I figured, how hard can it be? stripped it, primed it. Sanded between coats. Final coat before decals and clear coat, Orange peal like a mofo. Sides arew still good so it will be, strip the top again, feather it in and re-paint. god, I love doing stuff twice. Nice eh, Curtis??

i've got to get the tank painted before I will put gas in it. As stated before, I did manage to F it up and will strip the top down again and feather the rest in.

He took the pic with a nice tank on, but I didn't get that tank. I have the decals and should be able to get it looking something like the pic. The rest is as pictured. side covers , fairing etc. all re-spoked wheels.
