This is awesome. You've really inspired me. My H1E is getting stripped down this week.

Wow - she's looking great. I'm too busy messing with my so-called "running" bikes, to get any resto work done! Nice job so far.

Thanks guys....I am not doing the build myself...no time..or skills..lol. I Just work constantly so I can afford to pay for the build..lol.
Very stoked and impatient to have it back together and dialed.
Still have the Motor to deal with...waiting on parts...crank rebuild, top end as well first over with wossners.

Still looks too far to the left to me. All the 500s have this goof! The early ones really show the offset wheel when compared to their long rear fender. In the later 500s kaw got sneaky and offset the shock mounts to hide it. The fault lays in the sprocket carrier. The wheel ends up being about 6mm offset to the left of the center of the frame. The easy fix is to pull the rim 6mm to the right when truing the wheel, hence now putting the wheel on the centerline of the frame.. J

Well you can certainly see it in the above rear view pic of the bike. (Compare tire position to top frame rails)
And if the camera was positioned slightly to the right to perfectly center the head stock between the frame rails (and the handlebar ends above the rails) the wheel offset will become more evident.

It is also possible the swinger is also bent, or even the frame......

Or your rim centerline is already somewhat offset to the right of its hub's centerline hence correcting the issue...
