If they survive with you Lou, I'm sure they'd be good for all of us!

Hello,
I have a set of cruzin image pistons in one of my two '70 H1's These are rather good pistons, did 3500 km till now, but they seem to have less compression as my second '70 H1with original pistons ( i don't have a compression tester). Low end is rather sluggish. The cruzin pistons are 1.5mm over, the originals are 0.5 over. Both H1's have the same setup, only the ignition is defferent. The cruzin piston one has the H1D/H2 ignition, the one with the original pistons has the early CDI ignition. The one with the original pistons "feels" stronger.
Redards,
sluus

Just got a set of these in today, ended up being ~$170 Canadian to my door for 3 1mm over H1 pistons, a gasket set, and 3 carb kits. Pistons look great, they have the same deck height as the H1 pistons I pulled out, slightly different dome shape (but approximately the same) and a chamber on the very top of the piston. Rings are the same size @ 1.5mm x 2, and the piston cutout at the bottom is the same width (~30mm), albeit 4mm shorter (14mm vs 18mm). Gasket kit is D&K gaskets which I've used on honda CB's without an issue. Comes with 3 head gaskets (copper, stock 0.02" thickness), 3 base gaskets, clutch cover casket, and a H1B style points cover gasket (not suitable for H1A/C). Also comes with 6 intake spigot gaskets. I'm pretty satisfied!

How about a picture of the underside of the pistons? And are you able to weigh one of them?

Piston weighs 187g, pin + clips (pair) are 46g, rings are 9g. Total weight per piston is 242g, all are within 0.2g of each other (in total weight). Picture of underside:

Be aware that no jets in carb kits have been usable, according to all reports I've seen. Gaskets and sometimes float valves are OK.
