Good news found some needles at vintage kawasaki, Andy had the best average price for nla nos. Next is a set of needle jets, are 0-2 jets all the same, that is I`ve noticed various models use 0-2 jets, early h1`s, some s1`s, s2, s3, F7`s, s2a notes # 220 0-2/4, what does the 4 mean, what does the 220 mean, the ones in my carb are 214, some others I`ve found have 538 and various other numbers on them. Help with this would be appreciated before I knuckle under and and spend.

They differ in length, OD, etc.... physical differences. Those series used in Triple carbs are no longer produced, however, there are physical dims shown in the Sudco catalog that will enable you to find a match with current series numbers (assuming you have an OE jet to measure). The O-2 is the ID of the jet bore. There are charts to show the specific diameters for various jets. In the O-2/4, the /4 is the primary choke height in mm. Most new jets are 8mm and will need to be trimmed for desired height.

Excellent! I expect the gas milage should improve...but of course it won't, because you will not be able to resist the WFO throttle position..

Holy smokes...... you got that right, it aint no h2.... but it'll do for now. Its a totally diferent monster now. There is room for improvement, the needle jets are worn, however, I managed to find 3 nos ones from North Reading Honda Kawasaki, a little pricey but not bad for something made of unobatanium!
