blue H2. The center cylinder is not exploding. it isn't getting gas. Carb cleaned and blew out carb twice. Pilot hole is clear. needle is working . The bowl is full. Plug is hot but pipe is not. Timing is right on. The only thing I haven't checked is the air gap. But, at this point, I'm too hungry and pi$$ed off.
Any ideas??

What colour is the plug ? Is it very wet ? Can you confirm it is sparking ? Have you tried a new plug ? I have seen plugs, even new, fail and just "ground out" through the side and not spark when tightened into the head...

One more, switch the coil wires around and see if the problem follows,

Plug is not wet. When I changed it , it was warm. Cleaned and blew out the pilot.
Going to try switching carbs first. probably just a little hunk of something in there. It ran fine last week.
Thanks Curtis.

Are you running gas line filters Dave? Top of my list to get those installed on my bike this week. I was looking at my old gas line filters, for having them installed for 5 years, they seemed pretty clear of sediment but there were a couple chunks even big enough to plug up a main jet!

If you have compression, and the pilot is clean and open, it should fire with spark
If the plug is not wet then it is not getting fuel,
Plugged pilot/idle circuit Start the bike up, if you can run it, take it down the road, shut it down at mid-wfo and immediately pull the plugs, what colour is the faulty plug ?

Can you spritz a bit of carb cleaner in the carb mouth with it running?

Can you spritz a bit of carb cleaner in the carb mouth with it running? WD40 would work as well and would provide some lubricity to the cylinder as opposed to carb cleaner/brake clean/ether/nitro glycerin/dynamite/C4/hiroshima

Somehow work keeps getting in the way. I am leaning more towards an electrical problem now. I think the plug was warm due to it being beside a running cylinder. Can't see a spark on it now.
Hopefully time on Friday or Sunday to dick with it. going to Paris on saturday to go modern. UMMm, electric start.
