Well The beast lives She fired up last night after changing the seals and resetting the ign.I am using a total loss HPI self generating ign. The most simplest ign I have ever used. I am impressed that a fully ported motor fires up with one prod of the kickstart using this ign. Cant wait to run her trackside. I will try to post video later today. Steve

Hey Steve,That's great news.So was it the seals, ignition timing or a combination of both?

I think maybe a combination of both? But she fires right up now so all is good. Now I have to start getting the carbs to a point where they will be close enough to do some plug chops, I think we are a few weeks away from that though. Next is bodywork and paint Steve

points LoL. Never let me down either. I'd go a whole summer without timing them. But the people behind me would complain of raw fuel and oil puking out the pipes in a fine white mist. Next to a Magneto, Points are 2nd best !!

Race season is almost here. Here's the time to beat Steve. Mosport Dave's H2r still holds the VRRA lap record LOL P1-P2 Lap Record: D. Crussell 1.36.212 (2011) P2 Heavy: D. Crussell 1.36.212 (2011) Jim

I wont get near Crussell , he has a factory 750 and mine is a street based hot rod motor. 120 hp is attainable from an H2R also Jeff Peters 750 honda rings in at 95 hp. P2 heavy is gonna be tough for the little 500, but if all goes well with the chassis this yr my plan is to put a fully ported 750 in it for next yr, then we gonna have fun Steve
