Made a bracket out of aluminum for the gauges. And I bought some headlight brackets off Ebay for 25 bucks.
This weekend I want to work on getting the sprockets aligned.

Thanks Rocket!
I haven't updated this thread lately because I don't have anything new done. I made a bracket to mount a rear brake master cylinder but it still has to be welded to the frame. So I will be bringing the frame and rear brake pedal to work when I am on afternoon shift to get it done. I am also waiting for warmer weather to start prepping and painting parts.
I did meet 2 triplers last weekend here in St. Catharines. Raat2 and Papagriff. Raat2 had my new KTC T-shirt and I got to check out his awesome H2 project. What a beauty! It was great meeting you guys.

This is a cool project, nice work so far. St Catharines eh, kind of grew up there, met my wife then moved north. Went to Lake Pot SS, bought my first triple from Clinton Noble, was a fun town back in those daze( ) My brother is still there( former Austin pools and concrete) he rides and I try to get down there at least once a yr. Maybe we could all hook up and do the Niagara parkway, or Balls falls or something. Cheers

Time for an update!
The frame and swingarm have now been sandblasted and painted with tough epoxy paint. I pulled her outside into the nice weather for some pics.
Heres what I did for a steering stop:
Added a bracket for the rear disk brake master cylinder.
Heres the mounting system I came up with. I think it worked out well. Yamaha master.
I really wanted to get it set up level outside and see how everything is working out. Seems to be sitting perfect.
So next jobs for me are to get the bodywork ready for paint. Restore the gauges and switches. And either repair my seat pan or I have been thinking of making a new one out of fiberglass. I am too cheap to buy a new one. Anyone out there make one out of fiberglass or seen a thread on it?

Sorry I have not updated for a while. I need to get back to this project. Couple of things holding me back. One is color choice. Bodywork is almost ready for paint and I have 2 colors in mind. Actually, maybe more. Lol.. I did order a pipe kit from Walms. I got the standard outside frame configuration. Silencers yet to be decided. The crankshaft needs a rebuild and I want a new topend too. Unfortunately the toy funds aren't available at the moment so I will continue with the other items to be done. I plastic bead blasted the engine cases, cylinders, and heads so they are all clean as a whistle and ready to go. Also, I need to order a 1975 decal kit. Probably blue. I looked at the various sellers and prices. Its strange to me that Reproduction Decals,(Diablo) has the highest price. By a wide margin. He is 2 hours from me but I will end up buying from the UK or US. Been spending alot of my spare time riding and jetting my RZ500 this summer. Not much riding season left though.
