Looks like mr. Lawson was sandbagging a bit. Nice pick-offs though!

Good vids, good riding! How amazing the S3 is: that old and still capable of coping with such abuse! In France, some race all year without ever touching the engine. My S3 experience: purchased a stock S3 stored for 16 years. It started 2nd kick! Raced it three times without any trouble. For better starts, you may want to consider fitting a taller 1st gear with 37 instead of 33 teeth.

I think that would be a shorter 1st gear.

The start would have been good if i not had two neutrals... Before the start I had a problem .. Impossible come back the bike with the gear engaged on the clutch I had a spring effect instead..... Should I expect the worst!!!!

@ Jim: oeps. Stock S3 is 40 teeth, taller gear is 37. The 33 is stock H1, for which I also have a taller gear made..... with less teeth. Hence the mixup. @ Frame: with 1st and 2nd closer to eachother, chances of missing a shift are greatly reduced. At dragraces with S-series, many miss the shift from 1st to 2nd, provoked by the wheely inducing short 1st also.
