Nice pic of you on the Honda! Looks fun. Hey I've got a 450.. 73 F12MX with no motor! I guess that's it up on the wall. I had an F12Mx many years ago. I met a collector at Mid Ohio a few years back who said he's been looking for one for years and offered a guy $10,000 and a Corvette for his and he refused. I guess the dirt bike collector market is going strong. The F12 motor was a very unique two stroke. Very low RPM an balls of torque not like most. I wish I still had the piston from it. Never seen anything like it.

yea thats the one! i have a couple nos pistons, big buggers. from what i heard about that bike your spot on with the motor. my father raced it for a year or two then my grand father took it over for a bush bike! said he liked it in the mountains because it had so much torque. ill look into restoring that bike one day, the production motors the following year are pretty much the same, minor cosmetic differences. mine also has the wrong front wheel... missing the magnesium hub, rear is still the original magnesium hub... that doesnt turn.
