Thanks for bringing the bike out Brad. It looks great. Inspiration for me to get going on my project. Any news on the ignition failure? Was it a defective part?

Thanks guys, she still needs lots of work but a few trips around Mosport makes it all worth wile.
As far as the ignition. When the krober came the pulsers were already assembled so I never touched them.....wrong I should have lock tight them, just as I did the rotor & mounting bolts. It was running great on sat practice after I droped my gearing from 16/42 to 15/42 so it would pull 9500 up the back strait. One lap into the first race it spit the pulser out through the side of the cover like a bullett.never seen anything like it.

That ignition was a bummer, I was filming you coming up the straight when it happened, if you listen carefully at the end of the video, you can hear what I heard, wasn't pretty. Start at around 1:20 and turn the volume wayyyyy up.

I knew Dave Crussell fiddle fracked around with his Krober for years. Seems every race something went wrong, same with the H1R Hurley raced for a while. I don't know if he ever got it working, or changed to a more modern iggy.
Bummer you had problems, bike sounded good......

Great achievement! It always takes awhile to get a newly built racebike sorted. If you want original H1R pipes, I have a new set I can take measurement and pictures so you can make copies. Fairing, made from original mould, is still available if you need one. Consider HPI ignition, which is less costly and works basicaly the same as Kröber.

Located in the Netherlands. Will scan the factory R-document which shows the design of the pipe and post here.
